Frequently asked

How do I play?
Tap a descending spider to reveal it. Tapping a Friend saves it and scores points. Tapping an Enemy costs you points — Enemies should be left alone to fall. Tap "How to Play" on the main menu for the full rules.
How can I tell a Friend from an Enemy before tapping?
Watch how the legs move. Friends sway all eight legs together, gently and in sync. Enemies flex theirs in a faster, staggered, uncoordinated way. It is a genuine tell, but a subtle one — it is meant to be a judgment call, not a certainty.
How does scoring work?
+10 for tapping a Friend, −10 for tapping an Enemy, −5 if a Friend escapes untapped, and 0 if an Enemy escapes untapped. A streak of correct Friend taps multiplies your score: ×2 at 3, ×3 at 6, ×4 at 10. Penalties are never multiplied.
What ends a round?
Being overwhelmed — too many unrevealed Enemy spiders on screen at once. Difficulty stays gentle through the early levels and then rises sharply at Level 10.
What are the gold icons?
Charms. They fall faster than spiders and must be tapped before they land. Double Points, True Sight (briefly reveals every spider), Streak Shield (absorbs one streak break), and Slow Motion.
My scores are not appearing on the Game Center leaderboard.
Make sure you are signed in to Game Center in the Settings app, then relaunch the game. Scores earned while signed out are saved locally but are not submitted later.
How do I reset my scores?
Local scores and achievements are stored on your device only. Deleting the app removes them permanently. Game Center scores are managed by Apple in the Game Center section of the Settings app.
Is there any cost, advertising, or account to create?
No. The game is free, has no in-app purchases, shows no advertising, and requires no account.
